American Campus Communities Partners with Folds of Honor to Award $25,000 in Scholarships to Florida State University Students

At the Florida State University v. Miami football game on Veteran’s Day (Nov. 11, 2023), American Campus Communities and Folds of Honor took the field to award $5,000 scholarships to five FSU students.

The students are all children of veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Since 2018, the American Campus Communities Charity Foundation has partnered with Folds of Honor to support the nonprofit’s goal of providing educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members. ACC has awarded $150,000 in scholarships to date.

“The ACC team is so proud to work with Folds of Honor to support their mission and honor our nation’s veterans,” said Kim Voss, ACC’s chief financial officer and treasurer of Folds of Honor Central Texas. “Student success is our top priority, so this partnership has given us an incredible opportunity to support college academic achievement and an incredible charity partner.”
