American Campus Communities Named One of Newsweek’s Most Trustworthy Companies in America for Second Year
The nation’s largest student housing leader ranks number four in Real Estate category
March 29, 2023 — AUSTIN, Texas. — American Campus Communities, the nation’s leading developer, owner and manager of high-quality student housing, announces it has been named to Newsweek's 2023 list of “Most Trustworthy Companies in America” for the second year in a row.
This holistic award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc, the world’s leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider, spotlighting organizations with a revenue of over $500 million. These are companies who exemplify corporate responsibility and have earned the trust of the public across multiple dimensions. The Most Trustworthy Companies in America 2023 were identified in an independent survey based on a vast sample of approximately 25,000 U.S. residents who rated companies they know in terms of all three touchpoints of trust: customers, investors, and employees. A total of 95,000 evaluations were submitted.

Newsweek’s 2023 list marks the second year that ACC earned this distinction, following its number two place in Real Estate on the inaugural Newsweek list in 2022. The complete list comprises the top 700 Most Trustworthy Companies across 23 industries, with ACC currently holding the fourth place in the Real Estate category.
